If I ever when vegetarian I bet I'd eat a lot of falafel.

I love me some falafel. the falafel at afrah was kinda green when you bit into it. I heard that was a more Turkish rendition. anyhoo, this place in fort worth used to make the same kind and would pair it with eggplant in their pita. so good.

I like food. Food tastes good. I'd throw out dunch as a gathering idea but I know it'd get rejected like so much Dikembe Mutumbo.

you ever go to that bar right down from there? Forget the name of it. the brick is painted greenish/grey I think. closer to 75.

The one with the neon sign that just says BAR? That's main street liquid lounge. I haven't been in years but Ted and I have been there more than a few times. I met Walt up there too a couple of times when he used to live in town. I think we even had a big get together there once. I'm not sure why I haven't been in a while, maybe it was the awful karaoke selections by the patrons. A man can only take so many buck cherry songs.

I vividly remember a dude wearing a union jack t shit belting out Def Leopard tunes. That's when Cameltoe used to come out. It was a "private club" so people were still smoking. And that reminds me of a time when Lidless came out and he was puffing away on cigars. Those were good times.

We went to the great to visit city of New Orleans this weekend. Always a good time. Stayed in the Garden District. According to my wife, who owns a fit bit :bigtime: ,we logged 34,000 steps on Saturday. That's an s-load of walking. Hit up Commander's Palace for dinner which was a first for me. It did not disappoint. No sightings of Emeril.

When you say great to visit are you implying you wouldn't want to live there? Because I wouldn't either.

Emeril is probably at some Tibetan monastery with Mario Betalli reviewing the local cuisine that consists of slugs, acorns and spider eggs.

:babyarm: although the past few years there's been a lot of gentrification and it's cleaned up a ton from what it used to be.

That place is really good. Best mushroom swiss burger I've ever had. Greasy like a mug.

They also have a peanut butter burger but I've never tried it.
