RFD is supposed to move their studios into the new development at the Stockyards in Fort Worth in the near future.

About a year ago, RFD-TV abruptly stopped taping Mollie B shows. Somebody at the network figured out they had plenty and didn't need to spend any more money on production. Viewers are complaining but it's not worth it to the network to do anything about it. She posted this to her Facebook page last week:

Good morning. Mollie continues to get complaints about the bands airing on the Mollie B Polka Party on RFD. She no longer decides what is on each episode and has not had that control for many months. No matter what is going on with the show, she does still hope you are enjoying polka music.

I love her so much.

Looks like it's getting messy. And holy shit what a looker!

Good find, Gam. I wonder if this means what I think it means:

We wish Mollie & Ted well, and hope that they can resolve their personal problems which have had such a negative effect on their ability to produce any new Polka Party events with RFD-TV.

So I was watching "The Mule" and Clint Eastwood's character was in some kind of bar/dance establishment that was playing polka music. I was half paying attention, but the announcer came on and said "let's put your hands together for Mollie B and her polka band". My ears perked up and I remembered this long, lost thread from days gone by

Weird. I was scrolling through movies last weekend and watched a trailer for a Jack Black movie called The Polka King and remembered this thread too. I also thought about Rockme.

I always assumed that when Hoob said that Mollie B was hot, she was old person hot and not actually hot. She does a little something for me.

You underestimate just how seedy Hoob is.

I think he properly estimated hoob’s seediness although he did kind of insult his eye for talent due to implied ageism.

:babyarm: on the seediness. You could have used creepiness just as well. The women teachers at my school use it to describe me all the time.

Yay to Somey for remembering Mollie B. She will be in Texas in May. Hmmmm.

I love her so much.
