The new St. Vincent album is out today. It's really good. If you don't listen to her, you should. I'm going to see her at House of Blues in a couple weeks. I don't like that place. It's nice for music, but a pain in the ass to get there. It'd be nice to have DART rail close to it instead of having to walk a mile thru darkieville to get there. I saw Ween there once and went to pay the $15 to park. I gave the guy a $20 and he peeled off from his money roll what he thought was a $5 but turned out to be a $50. I pocketed it. Fuck 'em. But yeah, St. Vincent. Check her out.

But to address your main question, it's a good album. Doesn't top anything he did early in his career, but he's had a creative resurgence lately and is writing good songs again. Worth a purchase/illegal download.

It's on Spotify and Youtube (which is handy when playing in on the tv's sound system) I gave the whole thing a listen last night. Paul's voice is nothing what it used to be but overall I dug it.
