Anyone keeping up with the Amanda Knox story? I've heard about it for a couple of days and saw her press conference tonight after she landed in Seattle. I don't know if it means anything or not, but the shake voice and tears were obviously fake. Maybe she was all cried out by the time she flew in from Italy. There was a "friend of the family" that swore Amanda wasn't going to be scoring a book deal and trying to get rich from all of this, more likely she'll start up some kind of foundation for people that are in the same situation she was in. We'll see.

I heard later that Italy is appeal the innocent verdict (though she's expected to win) so it makes sense to lay low until it's truly over.

Today I Learned that in Italy you're guilty until proven innocent and then you're still guilty until you're proven innocent again.
