I really wanted to go to that show, but the idea of shelling out $50 a ticket to see them in that toilet made me go into a coma. I already regret it, so I'll probably see them wherever they play on their next trip through. All of the above songs are greatness. Modern Man is one of meh all time favorites.

Do what you can next time to see them. It was a fantastic show. They have tons of energy and are switching instruments every song. Unbelievably, the crowd was into it and singing and clapping to every song. We took the squids and they dug it even though it had nothing to do with the Disney channel. They proudly wore their new Arcade Fire tees the next day.

And yes, Starplex is still a total shithole.

They remind a little of Polyphonic Spree except the instruments aren't complete overkill and I don't feel like a faggot after I listen to their music.

The last show I saw there was Edgefest circa 1995 when I was 18 years old. It was about 40 degrees with the wind blowing 40 mph, we were surrounded by 14 year olds, and we watched all of the people in the seats below get continuously pelted by flying trash. I think we left after the 2nd band. I swore I would never go to another show there.
