I remember as a grade school Ich when this song released in 1971. It ooged me the hell out! Turns out the band, Bloodrock, was out of Ft. Worth.

The song is a first person account of a someone dying after having a car wreck.

Note: The lyrics say "flying along," but are actually "flying low" which meant speeding in your car.

Okay, 1971 was a seriously fucked up year for music as it was the same year that The Buoys released their one hit wonder, Timothy.

The song is about three trapped miners that, when rescued, turn out to be two miners with full bellies because they ate the third one!

I like her, but she's an acquired taste. Sometimes her songs are kinda embarrassing to listen to. I'm not aware of a hype machine behind her that's pushing her Bieber-style, but I'd imagine it's pretty easy to avoid her if you want to, at least for the kittens's sake.
