Had the Pillar Procedure done. I was in and out in 20 minutes. The nurse gave me some spray to deaden my gag reflex. I said they should give this out to women. I'm guessing it wasn't her first time to hear that joke cuz she didn't say anything. |

While I could stand to shed a few pounds, that's not what's causing my sleep apnea. I've had this dating back to my Chris Chris workout days. I had a sleep study performed and it was concluded I had severe sleep apnea. |

I used to wake up thinking I was gonna die, because I couldnt breathe...but it was when I was REAL fat. There wasnt a single Dr. that could recommend to your insurance that you needed it or the Amigos would die? Are you like De La Hoya rich? I was reluctant to go to the sleep study cuz I already knew I had sleep apnea and I didn't feel like sleeping in some strange place without my creature comforts but I figured it might help my chances of getting my insurance to pony up the money since I could send them documentable evidence that a specialist said that I stopped breathing in my sleep. After the study he wanted me to come in again so I could wear the c-pap and see how much it assisted me with breathing but I had already made up my mind that even if it did, there was no way in hell I was going to wear that shit so I never went back. I would much rather pay the money to get it fixed than live with a c-pap machine. The local anesthesia has worn off and now it hurts like hell to swallow the smallest amount of water. He prescribed me some hydrocodone so all ain't too bad. Is this the one you wore?

Wife says last week I was at a 10, last night I was at a 5. I told her I just got out of the water. Sounds like the Pillar procedure is the way to go. |
