:babyarm: Mushrooms always. It's good that we can all get along despite our differences. Olives and ketchup may be the only two "normal" foods I can't stand.

What a effeminate reaction to a goof.

I think I see what set you off now. You thought the "differences" comment was directed at you. It wasn't. It was a generic, throwaway comment. May be gay, but completely unrelated to anything you've said. The other one was, but there wasn't anything intended by it.

As far as being touchy and thin skinned - you are right that I've left this forum at least 5 times because I've gotten my feelings hurt. Oh wait ...

:babyarm: Last year I got in on that free pizza after a no-hitter deal that MLB put out. Got a free Domino's. First time I'd had it in a long time. It was terrible.

I know where that is, but we haven't been there. We got a good mom-n-pop place we like to go to and always forget about Marco's. I'll try to remember next time and report back.

It's been a while since I had black olives on a pizza but I don't remember them being salty. Are you thinking of green olives?

These days, most frozen pizza is better than the big chains.

My contribution to pizza talk.... Mellow Mushroom, Mrs. Ich and I tried them this weekend as they opened up a place off the McKinney Square. Gotta say I like pizza without red sauce and the olive oil they use with the thin crust makes for a moist slice.

Big thumbs up!

I got some ribs at baker's this weekend. The ribs were ok like they always are but I got a lemon fried pie too. That fried pie was awesome. The crust kinda tasted like a funnel cake and filling was excellent.

I grilled some chicken thighs this past weekend in honor of that that have fallen serving our country. I like the sound the grill makes when you turn off the burners and then the valve on the gas tank and you hear that pht, pht, pht for each burner going out.

The thighs are my favorite part of the chicken. I grilled some last Tuesday and ate the leftovers yesterday. Is 7 days too long? As long as leftovers aren't growing mold, I can generally handle them.

I don't think the two are mutually exclusive, but ok. Steak is good though.

Thighs are indeed the best part except for nachos or salads.

I bought a little smoke/grill combo a couple of months ago. Chicken thigh/leg quarters are usually on the menu every Sunday night.

I've been eating my Quaker Oat Squares every morning for breakfast. Boy howdy, do I love the way they crunch! This week, we have a carton of that unsweetened almond milk in the fridge. I'm not sure I care for the taste much by itself, but on cereal that shit is good. I don't know what health benefits I get from it especially considering I'm normally a skim milk guy, but I am on the trendy Other Milk bandwagon for the time being.

I still have not tried Greek yogurt, and won't until someone explains to me why this stuff is suddenly a thing.

I think "greek" yogurt is a type of process. Nothing fancy about it except the name. More of a market thing I believe.

Greek yogurt is significantly higher in protein.

Consistency-wise it's closer to sour cream.

I went to a place in Wylie. It's kinda shitty, but edible. It did the job today. Usually go to a place in Richardson that's awesome.

Today I discovered Lance's salt and vinegar sunflower seeds. Salt and vinegar is my preferred potato chip so I was intrigued.

I was not Dr. Richard Hertz's fiance. These are some good sumbitches. The sour vinegar taste wears off fairly quickly so it means fewer nuts in my mouth at one time to enjoy the taste more, but I was able to overcome this for quite an enjoyable experience.
