Saturday we got some cheap picture frames for our recently taken pics with our dogs. Christmas presents for parents = done. We bought the frames from Tuesday Morning. Weird name for a store, huh? Did you know Tuesday Morning's name was derived because some cutesy yahoo thought "it's the first positive morning of the week"? It's true. Bing it if you don't believe me. They also had a section of Christmas food baskets. Can you imagine eating food bought from Tues Morn? Good luck bm'ing those bricks. I also bought a coffee maker and yes, it takes #4 filters. That's right, I've got a coffee maker and a Keurig now. I missed having piping hot coffee waiting for me and ready to pour as soon as I woke up. When we got home from TM, I got the mail. There was a "Give Thanks" family portrait postcard from an old work bud of mine. He, his wife, and his son are all wearing white shirts, no shoes, and their jeans are all perfectly rolled up. They are on the beach. The kid is in the middle, legs in the air and an arm held by each parent, red rover style. His wife really upped the ante on gay. Poor bastard. If you are a parent and reading this, please remember that your kids are around for only part of your lives, but you are around for ALL of theirs. |

My mom doesn't believe in dinosaurs. I even took them down to dinosaur valley in grandbury on one of their visits. It did not convince her. |
