Glenn and Maggie haven't really been accounted for this season. Kinda surprised about Maggie's lack of concern about her sister. It's like the writers forgot they're even related.

I was wondering this, too. Maggie's just up and going to DC without evening mentioning Beth? Didn't she go all psycho looking for Glen?

That whole episode confused me. I felt like I missed the last one or they were aired out of order.

I need more information on the development of this place or I don't give a fuck. Motivations are not clear. In fact, an hour of Beth is too much anyway. Maybe Noah's with Daryl, which is bad news for Tyreese.

The black kid is definately with Darryl, and Darryl's gonna get the group and go kick some ass. I will throw out the theory that Carol allowed herself to be abducted just so she could get inside and protect Beth.

And I think these small stories about other groups are just gonna set up the 2nd half of the season when the group settles into the next place and there's another likely power struggle between Rick and whoever is in charge there. Either Rick is an awesome leader or he's just as crazy as the others, but in his own way.

I'm probably wrong.

So while it was a mediocre episode as a whole, it was made worse by focusing on Abraham and Eugene. Abraham is a badly written character but Eugene is badly written and badly acted. Maybe it's a choice to play him Autistic, but I've seen better acting on the SyFy channel.

Hopefully they will kill him off sooner rather than later and get back to the good stuff.

I thought Abraham's back story was terrible and incomplete. I agree - he and Eugene are not translating to the show very well.

Sure - if the zombies lifted it by the bumper, it may have had a chance to land like that. The fall still would have done major damage to the back/spine. But I know we're talking about a show about zombies and Daryl can't die anyway.

This is what happened to the van during filming.

I would've been cool with a nosedive then a fallback to regular van position for the raining zombies part, but yeah, it was ridiculous how it worked out. I also would've been cool with a 45 minute fall like in Inception.

While I rolled my eyes at the van too, it was by far not the biggest "yeah right" moment I've had with this show. It didn't kill the episode for me.

Anyone NOT see that Sasha knockout coming from a mile away?

My girlfriend has been watching this with me this season and she's gotten somewhat into it and I told her she should go back and watch it from the beginning. Then I thought about that for a while and saw myself getting pulled into watching it all, so I retracted that statement. If someone picks up this show in season 5, their favorites are Glenn, Abraham, Carol and Beth. That's on a very limited sample size.

The knockout was the only bad part of a pretty solid table setting episode. Mrs Tit started watching about halfway thru last season but I'm not gonna recommend she go back and catch up. Some of those early episodes were just too damned lame. Plus you can give all the background needed for any character in about 5 seconds. "Carol was an abused woman who lost her husband and daughter to zombies, and now she's all about survival and she's good at it." See? Try that with any character from Game of Thrones.

I was expecting a better episode than that. Beth dying was the worst kept secret ever. The whole hospital storyline gets a big meh. I'm not even sure I understand it all and I really don't care. There's no reason to keep Sgt Carver around. What a fucking idiot. Even god would laugh at him. And they're leading up to Morgan finding the group (of which he knows 3 people) like anyone gives a shit. I did like when Rick told Bob 2.0 to "shutup". "Zero fucks given" Rick makes me happy.

Rick had some badass moments, but I didn't give a shit about Dawn and the cops were assholes anyway. They wanna turn off the monitors for the patients but then they waste resources on an exercise bike. When food is scarce, you shouldn't have to worry about burning off extra calories. The cops were Andrea dumb.

I didn't understand the hospital from the beginning. Even logistically things didn't seem to make sense. When Beth and Noah try to escape Noah says they have to go through the overrun basement to get out, but everyone else seems to come and go without issue. I may have missed something in the explanation but I don't care. The level of dickitude amongst the cops was weird. For a world of chaos there sure are a lot of groups who have steadfast, unbreakable rules. And why weren't Carl and Michonne pissed at the preacher for bringing a horde with him?

And now they're all in Atlanta. Right back where they started. It's like they can't find a direction for the show. It may have seemed like they stayed at the farm and prison forever, but those seasons felt like they were building to something. It just all seems so aimless now.

Yet I am still watching.

Glenn: We may have time for a quick sweep.

Next scene: Glenn and Rick standing against a car talking about nothing.

That looked like a decent enough place that, cleaned up, would serve pretty nicely as a temporary safe home. Can't understand why they'd rather hit the road and sleep outside every night. Of course, I'd be dead already if this really happened, so maybe their way is the right way.

I think their excuse was they couldn't see anything coming (bad people or zombies) because of all the tree cover. Something fucked up was going on there too. Those didn't seem like normal dead zombies. I'm done trying to understand anything though. I'm just watching.

:babyarm: Buncha zombies cut in half with the torsos crammed into some car. Could be a good mystery episode but instead they go for a weird scare that isn't that scary and no explanation. Some producer probably said, "Look, we paid for all these body parts and we're gonna use them somehow!"

Note that the episode was directed by Greg Nicotero who was originally the make up guy. Now he's an executive producer and even director.

Good riddance to Tyrese. His character was starting to become as annoying as Dale.

They're in a barn. Darryl sees a bunch of walkers heading their way so he tries to keep the door shut. Sheniqua (I forget) notices and runs over to help. At no point does anyone yell, "Yo, a little help here." They just wait til one by one each notices and comes to help. If the zombies got in, they'd all deserve to die.

Do zombies have a sense of smell now? Because it used to be about noise. Seeing girls hold off zombies with one arm and stab them with the other, makes that Tyreese scene last week look worse than before.

Also, what was the "plan" that got jacked up? Sheniqua started killing zombies instead of the ol' "reel them in and move out of the way at the last second so they fall off the cliff" trick and Abe got pissed that the plan went to shit.

They didn't want to expend any unnecessary energy so the plan was to get in line, shove a zombie into ditch, then go to the end of the line and wait for your next turn. She somehow fucked it up and they had to go close quarters.

Dog looks delicious.

The zombie sense of smell was established in season one. Remember the jumpsuits covered in zombie guts? Yeah? Because none of them do. Never understood why they wouldn't utilize this all the damn time.

Still trying to figure out the whole barn thing. Zombies rush the door. They hold the door. Then everyone wakes up. Was it a dream? Then there had been a tornado?
