Are we done with this show? I realize it's still a bad show, but last night was pretty intense.

I'm not done. It's still a stop-down at my house on Sunday nights. Even Mrs. Tit, who hates blood and gore, is into it.

Same here, but it still has major flaws. Morgan's development makes zero sense, but I did enjoy the asskicking that he and Carol threw down.

Scattershooting...

* It has problems establishing a sense of place. Lot of red shirts killed off last night , but from what we've ever seen, Alexandria has maybe 20 people in it. Where the hell did all these people suddenly come from?
* The show is great at shock and brutality and that's all I really need from a zombie show.
* Carol was badass and I loved her sheep-in-wolf's-clothing thing.
* Morgan needs to quit being so civil.
* I still have no idea what the point of Gabriel is.
* The kid Ron is a whiny punk. Kawrl can kill dudes, get the girl, AND take the casserole out of the oven on time.

Gabriel has replaced Dale as the series' most annoying character.

Anyone else notice that it was the three black people that survived from the group of 7? I guarantee that was intentional. And funny.

I'm reading theories that glenn lived and I'm believing it. This would be the worst fake death since Jon snow.

Titette pointed out while we were watching that the organs were all up around his chest rather than his belly. It kinda makes sense that those would be Nicholas's guts and not his. He could get away by being covered in blood, but it's not old zombie blood. It's fresh blood and that's like steak sauce to zombies. I dunno. I'll go read some theories, but I bet we don't find out for 2 weeks or so.

Titette is perceptive - he wasn't yelling either. I'm convinced he's alive now. He's going to escape somehow with Nicholas' guts on him like so much season 1 that they seem to have forgotten about. I hate bullshit like this. You don't want to kill him? Don't kill him, but don't pull this crap. As a side note, Nicholas shouldn't have even been a part of this shit. He should have been put down already.

Next week looks Morgan-centric, so it will probably be 2 weeks before we find out for sure.

I looked at some stuff and they're pretty much saying what we're saying. I'm still not sure that even if he plays possum while covered in Nicholas viscera that the zombies won't get him. Even if they've had their fill, they'll still be milling about that alley til something distracts them outta there. Of course, if they're dumb enough to think he's one of them, he can just walk right past them and back home. I guess we'll find out in 3 weeks.

Whenever a major character dies he is one the Talking Dead right after the episode and they have a reflection montage.

EDIT: Whoops. Named the wrong show.

There have been reports that Steven Yuen was seen on the set filming episode 7 and beyond. Not dead.

I am still too invested to give this show up but he's not dead and that sucks and makes me want to give up. But as stupid as that is what really pisses me off is the general stupidity of the characters. You have a dead man walking. Plant his ass in one of the cars and lay on the horn and lock the doors. If I'm bit I volunteer for this. Maybe batteries are dead? But give it a shot.

Shit, people don't think straight in crisis I guess. The only things I find interesting are ruthless Rick and cold ass Carol. Even Daryll is boring.

The writing is stupid the characters are stupid and I'm stupid so I'll watch again next week.

The Talking Dead may be the gayest show ever.

So let's make this episode 90 minutes, right?

Sounds good, but let's make sure it's really boring, too.

Okay, good. But let's also make sure to avoid answering any questions from the massive cliff-hanger we had last week, too.

Right. So let's answer a bunch of questions no one was asking while we're at it.

I think we need a goat.

Goats = ratings. Makes sense. But my vote goes to fat ninja psychiatrist instead.

Why not both? Also, fewer zombies.

Genius. As long as the whole episode centers around a character no one cares about.

Done. Make space on your mantle for an Emmy.

:babyarm: If you want to make me care about Morgan, don't have him disappear for 5 seasons. I turned it off after 30 minutes. I have no idea what happened to the goat or the white dude.

Boring. And that will be the last time I watch this show live. 25 minutes of commercials.

:dead:

Most of these points are stolen, but they need to be discussed.

1. This whole season (minus the Morgan backstory) has taken place in one day, yet a) Maggie is worried that Glenn is dead and she doesn't know what we know, b) the nurse is worried that the black dude is not recovering quickly enough.

B. Rick is yelling at everyone with the zombies right outside that they need to be super quiet so the zombies will move on. Then follows it up by letting that boy shoot at zombies from the watch area.

III. They have a secret tunnel and they don't use it for anything except to go find a guy that's been missing for a few hours? Clean that mother fucker out.

Pi. So Rick was locked in the RV surrounded by zombies and people who want to kill him and has no problem escaping and running back to safety, but Aaron and Maggie (neither of the weaker characters) have a hard time fighting off two zombies who have been stuck in the cobwebs of the tunnel? Cheap. And convenient that we didn't see how Rick escaped.

{. More cliffhangers, huh? How about resolving the other one from 2 weeks ago? And if it is Spencer's blood, nobody gives a shit.

My wife asked if the zombies are getting faster and more aggressive. I told her maybe they were evolving, but honestly shit changes from week to week. All of that said, they can win me back with a good episode next week.

That one guy didn't wanna watch his family starve when it's only been a day. The Alexandrians aren't very interesting, but it'll be fun to watch them get munched on when those walls inevitably fail.

Going to be in Alexandria for a long time. They are casting Neagan for the end of this season.

I just googled him and he's still alive in the comics? I read the first one after they FFWD 2 years to a new home and I didn't have it in me to continue. Reading is hard.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan has been cast as Negan. He played The Comedian in Watchmen. That's casting I can get behind.

I wish they'd just find their own plots and explore them, but I hear the show runners want to line up closer with the comics. So get ready for a CG tiger. I think they might also be heading toward a certain someone getting part of his head blowed off by a panicky Alexandrian. I hope that happens.

So Dwight is clearly Dwight from the comics, so you know who is coming, not that it wasn't already confirmed. Decent episode overall. Not great, but better than the last couple of weeks.

The guy on the two way radio saying "help" - Glenn?

Can they be that stupid to try that? What am I saying.

I guess since this episode was so expected I had no major issues with it. I think my most major complaint overall is them not emoloying dead body guts camo at virtually all times.

I don't read the comics so I don't know what's supposed to be happening next...

*Why does Enid want to flee Alexandria? Did she have a premonition about the fall of Alexandria, so her JSS attitude kicked in?
* Morgan's philosophy of pacifism is a recipe for disaster. Carol and the faux doctor visiting Morgan's prisoner is bound to be the end of the doc. Then we have to suffer through Morgan's crisis of faith.
*Ron following Carl with a gun is bound to result in his death. Either Carl kills him or Rick blindsides Ron which won't bode well for Rick's quest to separate Ron's mother from her panties after already killing her husband!
*I like Glenn so I'm not upset he made it under the dumpster.
* Rick needs to throw Gabriel over the wall or, since the wall has been compromised, shoot Gabriel in the kneecap and let nature take its course.
*Eugene's cowardice is becoming tiresome.
