Were we supposed to understand why Carol had such a hard-on to kill that guy right then?

Also, the point of the ants?

How about Rosita and Tara giving up their guns for the Wolf who had somebody that I don't know the name right now? We've seen them shoot zombies with pinpoint accuracy from further away.

The Carol/Morgan fight was completely contrived. Nobody would fight over that in that situation.

The ants were probably a metaphor for something stupid.

Deanna going in to see Judith when she's minutes away from turning was also cheap. It would have been better if we heard her say "wait" right before Rick chops her head off and realizes he just killed a human.

This half season was beyond disappointing.

Very disappointing for a half season ender. I got excited when they got their zombie guts cloaks on, but to end it on the fucking porch is bullshit. I don't want to wait 2+ months to see that little shit panic and get eaten. That would've been an awesome downer to end on, not the mention any collateral damage that might come along with it. Ditch some of the other bullshit like Morgan and Carol or yet another speech from Deanna and we could've had something to hang onto. Then they introduced the concept of Negan in that bonus scene that you saw if you didn't bother to switch off Into the Badlands. I've never been a big fan of that storyline so it'll probably go on forever and drive me nuts.

Those ants are a metaphor for the zombies getting inside the walls. It might've worked in an earlier episode, but including it when the wall has already collapsed is dumb.

I didn't mind Negan in the comics, but it went on forever and I don't think he was totally developed. I watched the scene and was waiting for them to pronounce the name to know if I had been pronouncing it correctly when reading it (I was).

Also, every time I see Deanna, I'm thinking she's Caitlyn Jenner.

Mrs. Ich became curious about The Walking Dead over the holidays as she walked through the den while I was watching a few reruns. I offered to pull up the pilot for her. Long story short: we just completed season 2 yesterday and she is absolutely obsessed!

I knew she was the woman for me when she cheered when Dale died.

I love the carnage episodes. The Eye of Kawrl almost made Mrs Tit physically ill. And Negan's crew getting blowed up is one of my favorite things ever.

I loved parts of the episode. I got fired up on a few occasions. But I hate it when people get saved just in the nick of time, and there was way too much of that.

Yes, Glenn should've been a goner...again. The solution to rescuing Maggie from that rickety tower was to...climb up on that rickety tower.

Good talking to you again, buddy.

I loved last night's mid-season premier. It fulfilled all my expectations. I haven't ever read the graphic novels so I have no idea which character might be next to go.

******SPOILER ALERT***********SPOILER ALERT***************

Seeing that little shit Sam get eaten alive had me sitting on the sofa literally double fist pumping in the air. I despised Dale and was ready for Andrea to go when she did, but I would have stuck a knife in the base of Sam's skull when he was alive upstairs at the house. A walking liability obvious to all.

Carl had to learn the same lesson Glen did when Glen let Nicholas live after Nicholas tried to kill him. Had Carl finished Roy in the garage he would still have his eye. Loved that Michone stepped up once again to save Rick's ass.

Rick returning to wreak havoc on the Dead was not to take back Alexandria. It was to work off the stiffy he had waiting for Jessie after they got in the clear of the Dead. Make no mistake, Rick had intentions of filling her every orifice multiple times since he offed the good doctor. (Ichabod's note: Blonde mommies with tatoos deserve to be spanked hard and often. :whip: )

Eugene and Gabriel redeeming themselves by helping in the fight now leave them clear to be eaten in future epsiodes. Morgan's schtick is beyond tiresome. He needs to go.

Glenn continually being trapped in hopeless situations only to survive is setting us all up for the moment when he's trapped and doesn't make it out. It's the classic "Boy who cried Wolf scenario."

Daryl is still a bad ass. That is all.

That's good stuff. Some :puke: in there too.

Abraham and Sasha knocking out walkers 6 inches from Glenn, but not hitting Glenn, was even worse for me than him being saved at all. But Daryl saving Abraham and Sasha just in the nick of time (I really thought Sasha was going to get it since it seems they're trying to get more in line with the comics), and Michonne saving Rick and/or Carl just in the nick of time was too much.

Also, the dude that plays Dr Dre in Straight Outta Compton (I don't know his name in TWD) is the best match looks-wise with his comic counterpart.

I am always amazed at the depth of stupidity that can reached by my fellow beings... Okay. New Rule: if you haven't watched the return episode you are not allowed to complain on the Walking Dead Facebook page about spoilers!

Stay off the f'n page!

********** SPOILER ALERT************

I was caught off guard by the Rick & Michonne coupling. I've always thought of Michonne as a warrior and never sexualized her character. If they have a bambino it will grow up to be an absolute badass.

A teenaged Carl sneaking a teenaged Enid into the woods only to sit against a log and read comics is ridiculous. The reality should have been him using his one good eye to look at her one brown eye after he had her bent over the log!

Rick and Daryl bringing Jeebus back to Alexandria will prove to be a mistake though I think Daryl realized that at the time.

That music makes everything funny. They could put that as the soundtrack to the storming the ghetto scene in Schindler's List and it'd still be funny.

Just got through watching last Sunday's episode...

********** SPOILER ALERT************

Someone is getting ready to die!

Jeebus relating the story of how Negan beat some kid to death at their first meeting is foretelling as to what is going to happen when Rick's group makes contact. That and the final scene in the RV where everyone is all smiles and feeling content leads me to believe that Glenn's luck may have finally run out! The "Local" that they took with them as a guide will somehow betray the group and they'll be captured without a fight and be at Negan's mercy... I hope I'm wrong.

I read an inline opinion that every escape from the Saviors makes the Saviors less and less of a threat. They're supposed to be these badasses but they're looking more and more incompetent each week.
