Can you sit in your car and have a 220 pound hag bring you a beer and a burger at Kincaids? I didn't think so.

So are we rating the experience or the burger? I've never had Keller's so I can't say. I'm skeptical about this "brother" though. How do we know you really have one?

Found myself in Irving today at lunch so I took a couple of buds to Griff's. It's been at least 20 years since I was last there. It's still awesome, and if it's not in your top 5, it should be.

This isn't to be confused with any of the Griff's over in FW. They aren't nearly as good as the one in Irving.

One of these days I hope to find myself in Coppell at lunch. I haven't been to the Coppell Deli in probably 15 years.

When I go into the local Whataburger to get my breakfast taquito, I often see a couple in there at 6:40 am, chompin' down on a Whataburger. I don't see how they can do it.

After a night of lengthy and particularly passionate marital sexcapades, their glycogen reserves depleted, a Whataburger may be just what the doctor ordered.

The one on Belknap in FW is not near as good as the one in Irving.

Griffy looks like a crackhead Pilsbury dough boy.

Had an in and out burger today to see what all the fuss was about. Ordered it "animal style" like I was in the know. They asked if I wanted my fries "animal style" too so I sad "you betcha". I wanted to be uppity about it, but god damn it was a good burger. Better than whataburger, better than Griff's.

The key is to realize that it's nothing more than a fast food burger. The long lines have people tricked into thinking it's the second coming of Keller's Drive In, when it's really on par with Whataburger or Jack in the Box.

Bigboy, you made a valid point and it was careless on my part not to specify that the tastiness was relative to fast food burgers. With that in mind it was > steak n shake but I'd prolly give back yard burgers the nod over in and out.

Fruit, the twist is that i'm in the bay area this week for work and ate at one in San Jose. Still haven't had one in Texas.

I guess the lights went down in the city.

If "Animal Style" = Thousand Island dressing then fuckit. I can't stand that shit. I've eaten one Big Mac in my adult life and I thought it was disgusting. (Imma double quarter pounder w cheese kinda guy)

I assume TG isn't referring to the Irving Griff's about his claim. I haven't found one better yet.

No, the burgers all come with thousand island standard. Animal style burgers have grilled onions and mustard cooked into the meat. I think animal style fries have grilled onions and chilli. I'm too lazy to look it up, but if you go to the "not so secret menu" on their website, it gives you the details.
