it occurred to me today that I need new music in my life. I'm sick of listening to the same shit I've been hearing for 20 years. It's just not doing it for me anymore. But I don't know where to look for something new and decent... doesn't even have to be new. New to me is ok. So hip me to the new hotness, please. illegal downloads are a plus.

I actually stumbled across that earlier. Had a cool sounding punky song playing.

accuradio.com has got all kinds of shit on it. I esp like the beatles plus channel. there's a nice app for the Pre, Andriod and the iPhone, too.

You obviously don't know the difference between 'cunt' and 'bipolar'.

Me = bipolar.
Hugo = cunt.

Is that clearer?

That reminds me... the other day I walked up on a conversation I chick friend of mine was having. I think she was feeling sick but didn't want to go to the doctor. As I walked up she said, "Well, I'm sure no one has ever died of a sinus infection."
I said, "Actually..." Then I pooped my pants giggling.

All 4 Kings of Leon albums. The first 3 are less mainstream and really good music/lyrics.

That playlist is where I check out new shit every month. It's a lot of hit and miss, but I keep what I like and throw away what I don't. The only other thing I can think of is Pandora or Last.fm where they can match up new shit based on what you already like.

Pandora is greatness. I listen on my blu-ray player, you get new shit and old shit you forgot about. A set a Cult station and get some really good music on it.

Yeah, about the first of the month the guy puts one out. There are others, but IMO, his is the best.

last.fm seems to do a little better at changing shit up over Pandora. Or that's been my experience.

The new New Pornographers is really good. Not as good as any of their first three, but those are all so far beyond awesome it's unfair to compare anything else to them.

The new The Hold Steady is pretty good too. Some of the reviews are being meaniebutts about it, but it's still good. It's a little more mellow and growed up for them. And again, just because it's not as good as a past album doesn't mean it sucks.
