I read up on Huey Lewis. His voice wasn’t mentioned but it looks like he is suffering from major hearing issues/impending deafness. Sucks. He talked about suffering from tinnitus. That’s ringing in the ears, fyi.

Yes that’s what it was. It was affecting his ability to hear himself when he spoke/sang or somesuch. Anyhoo, he definitely didn’t have that condition in the interviews.

Huey Lewis was my favorite artist until I was about 10.

Huey has Meniere's Disease like a certain rr posteur (hint: it's me). It affects people differently. It's been several years since I've had the severe vertigo attacks, brain fog and stopped up ears. I don't miss it and hope those never return. I'm not deaf but it's difficult to separate words in a noisy environment. I have to watch tv with subtitles, otherwise I'd miss half the dialogue. Like Huey, I am also tone deaf, but for different reasons.

There are people with the disease that suffer from "drop vertigo." They feel fine one minutes and suddenly vertigo hits them so intensely and quickly they literally will drop like a push puppet. Scary stuff.
