I saw the gay cowboy movie on Friday. If this thing wins jack shit it's because and only because it's abut gays. This was about the most boring movie ever. It'd be innersting to see if it had been a guy and a girl if the story wouldn't have seemed to suck so much. It's not a love story. It's a sex story. There is no love involved in this story. It's a hey I'm horny for man ass and I can't wait for you to let me in your doodoo place.

thumbs down. However if your date thinks man on man is hot, it's a nice long excuse for heavy petting.

Ouch. 50 mil is good but unremarkable. And definately not the $70 million Narnia premiere.

The Family Stone - Too much shit happening in this movie. There were funny parts and sweet parts, but the premise was ridiculous. I know I don't watch movies for reality, but I found this movie too contrived. 2.4 out of 5.

Who cares? My next movie to see is the gay cowboy movie. King Kong is too fucking long and we thought it would be too crowded. I'll wait for DVD.

Titanic is one of the all time bests at the Box Office. That must mean it's great! Shawshank Redemption bombed at the Box Office. That must mean it sucks!

Last Days - The last of Gus Van Sant's death trilogy. Pretty damn tedious like the others, but at least Elephant had that feeling of dread running through it that got you all wound up and depressed-like. This one just had a Cobain-type wandering through the woods and being all heroined up at his house. Then finally, he's dead. Yay!

Sagger. Please drop out of school immediately and start your career as a film critic. I am not being a jackass on this one. I am serious. Your review was honest and worth reading. Unfortunately, the Hollywood faghags will ignore any and all thoughts like this and it'll be Yippie kiyaaa Asspounder at the Oscars this year.

Kicking and Screaming - Not that funny. Not that unfunny. There's a little Asian boy that makes this movie. Will Ferrel was better when he had white man's afro.

2.6 out of 5.

This is one of the few movies I've ever walked out on.

War of the Worlds - This movie was good, exciting, tenses, for about 90 minutes, but Goddamn! the ending was so shitsuckity that it ruined all that came before it. Spielberg's gotta stop with the happy ending shit.

:alien: :alien: :alien: (out of 5) for the 1st 90 minutes.
:fu: for everything after that.

Theatre review--Got to check out the new AMC Theatre in Garland. It was 10 days old yesterday and I'm so excited to finally have it open. It is in a nice setting with the new mall & restaurants. I actually went 2 days in a row (the first day being just to get stocking stuffer gift cards) and it was surprisingly not very busy each day. Therefore, parking/tickets were a breeze and they do have the automated ticket machines if you don't feel like interacting with a human. Although, I must say, the humans working were VERY friendly & fun. I guess the new has not worn off for them yet. They were having a free popcorn promotion which was originally supposed to only last a week but now they think it'll go to the end of the year. The do-it-yourself butter/salt stations are great because they make the lines go much faster. I liked the monitors in the lobby, the carpet colors, the bidets in the ladies' room, and the warmly lit trashcan area inside each individual theatre telling me "thank you" as I left.

:candy: :candy: :candy: :candy: :candy: of :candy: :candy: :candy: :candy: :candy:

Munich-- Not exactly a happy, fun Christmas Eve movie. I really can't be objective about movies that are this long. However, I knew how long it was before I went and I thought somehow the historic machinations and European locales would somehow draw me in in such a way that I would forget it was 3 hours long but they really didn't. Halfway through I was just thinking "just hurry up and kill six more people so we can leave and so you can go home to your wife and 5 month old baby (that looked like it was about a year old and talking)". There was full frontal nudity both male and female but they were both dead at the time so that took some of the fun out of it.

2.55 out of 5 :goldstar:

Fun With Dick and Jane: pretty funny, but you can probably wait til it comes out on HBO. Tea Leoni has always done something for my pants.
