How is your Spanish team doing, Head?

Wednesday is going to be awesome.

England's team is littered with my boys and captained by a future first ballot hall of famer who does indeed rock it like a Harry Kane.

My boy Lloris will bring home the cup! Vive la France!

My boy Harry Kane gets the boot! Well deserved!

Would have been better if it were England vs Belgium in the final. England laid down in the 3rd place game but they would have played different if it were the final.

The frogs did good. I really didn't have a dog in the hunt but I chose to root for France because of Hugo. The bar I watched the game in was decidedly pro-Croat or anti-French, one, the other or both. I yelled extra loud when France scored just because I'm snarky like that. Hoob would have approved.

It was a weird tournament not having a US team from the onset. A lot of Tottenham players were scattered throughout the teams so my interest was kept all the way through.

It was a great World Cup, disappointing ending as far as England were concerned, but enjoyed the final without the tension.

I think 1990 WC is still my fondest soccer memory, but this was close. I even managed to get my wife to the pub in Rockwall to watch the games. She normally hates soccer.
