Dr. Jerry Punch is going to stay with ESPN. He is mostly known for working NASCAR races and is considered to be excellent at what he does.

NASCAR is leaving that network, but the good doctor is going to stay with the them. He also has done college football and will probably be heavily involved with that in the future. I really like the guy. Good for him.

I'm kinda sorta following the Fantasy Sports companies' scandal, where a Draft Kings employee used insider information to win $350k on Fan Duel.

The networks are all in bed with them now, especially ESPN, who I really hate. Too bad they couldn't give each other the herp. Or something.

If these companies are pouring millions into the networks, who is going to call them out for being crooked? ESPN is famous for censoring their own journalists who write about the wrong subjects. I linked a Sporting News article about it, and they get money from Fan Duel, too.

They lay off 3,000 because of declining subscriptions. I blame it on them sucking balls, but it probably has more to do with people cutting the cord. Either way, fuck them every which way until Sunday.

If I did ala carte programming, I am not sure I would pick them up even though I am a big time sports consumer.

I'm a cord cutter but I have SlingTV so now I'm a sorta cord cutter. It has ESPN and ESPN2, plus I get access to WatchESPN. Also it has TBS and TNT so I get a pretty good little sports fix for $20/mo. I just wish I could get FSSW somehow.

What is there to miss? Other than when the Cowboys are Monday Night Football, I don't watch those fuckers at all. If the Rangers are on their channel, I listen to the radio while muting their announcers, often with my back to the TV.

Really, I am already doing without them. They used to be so good.

Went to Yahoo sports as my main page a couple of years ago because I hate ESPN's choice of stories, and I'll be damned if I don't have to find somebody else now. Today's page is dedicated to their stupid fucking fantasy leagues. Nearly every story is either fantasy stuff or an ad.

ESPN's page is way more informative. So is Fox Sports's.

It was the only thing those dumbfucks did right and they have to ruin it. Dumbasses.
