Not to defend soccer, but this was pretty pathetic.

The NFL has decided not to punish the two Giants players, because they didn't admit to it afterwards. What a great rule.

they shouldn't be going after the players, they should be hammering the team instead. can't they fine teams more anyways?

they only fine players when they actually play football and tackle somebody

I'm not saying they should go after the players, but they would have if they admitted to it. Which is the dumbest thing I've heard.

This crap has been going on for a few years. I hope the league is going to get tougher on this. Sitting players out for the series instead of just one play would be a step in the right direction. Also fine the team for obvious violations, not the players (unless of course, they admit it). Fining players for suspected fake injuries would open up a can of worms with the union.

Now I see how the league would be like with Obama as commissioner

i have one of those types on indians, but also an african (real one), and a mexican with thick accent. They are real excited. So, we agreed to watch some matches together. I like curry so it should be fine.

So, people are chanting the "I believe that we will win" chant in advance of the next American game.

Every time I see someone do that chant in high school sports, that team loses.

Every. Single. Time.

So, fuck soccer.

In Disney's infinite wisdom they chose to NOT televise the Sunday evening game of the US and Portugal. Univision had it todo esta bueno, perritas.

I saw it on ESPN. Disney probably didn't want to pre-empt Kickin' It.

We cut the cord when we moved into the new place and I don't miss the extra >$100 bill every month. The biggest pain though is sports watching. All week long I had planned to watch the US/Portugal game at my house because I just KNEW ABC would carry a US game at 5:00pm on SUNDAY. Fuckin idiots.

Yeah, it's kinda dumb they'd show all the other games but not the US. Buncha Commies.
