France accused Spain of losing a game on purpose, so the two of them could play in the first round of the elimination portion, meaning France - who is a middle of the pack team in the final 8 - wouldn't be able to play for a medal unless they beat Spain (the #2 team) in the 1st round. Woods looks like a straight up baller in that pic. Is it just me or is the size of Vonn's cranium about 1.25 the size of a normal woman? You know Tiger is thinking "I live in FL for a reason. Screw this cold weather." Watching downhill in person has got to be the biggest whast of time. Let's suppose you are midway up the mountain waiting to get a glimpse of a skier. They come around the bend and you see them for like 2 seconds and then they are out of sight. Whoopti freakin do. Let's say you are waiting at the finish line. They come across the line real fast and all and then they stop and kick snow onto you. Who wants that? That being said I used to be huge into skiing and would watch it on TV. I loved watching Bob Beattie's TV show. |

Typical of counter-culture arrogance, you expect us to agree with you on a baseline of assumptions and historical perspective of which we have little knowledge. And typical of counter-culture types, you likely assume that is our fault, not yours. Do a better job of educating the reader in order to find common ground.
