That was an asswhipping of epic proportion. No-E and I made the trek to Waco to see what I though would be a good game. Abilene had a good team and I thought they would give Southlake somewhat of a challenge, but I couldn't have been more wrong. Southlake jumped on Abilene, scoring on it's first possession of the game, then recovered a fumble on the kickoff and scored again. Abilene was dead in the water after only about 4 minutes.

Southlake is fucking strong..... so fucking strong... They will destroy Plano.

It was crowded. I don't know how many people were there, but the stadium was about 1/2 full...

Floyd Casey has a capacity of 50,000. That's quite a turnout. I would imagine more would be there for this weeks game. I saw Odessa Permian play Trinity at Texas Stadium back in '86 or '87 and the whole bottom level was full.
