We will have some in a couple of years. The 9th grade team has about 5 brothers. Finally we have some team speed on the way!

meangreen report on Warren:

Steve Warren made the transition last year from Quarterback to Safety, and seemed to thrive in space. He does not shy away from contact, though he is no Jonas Buckles or Craig Jones in the secondary, and he does possess tremendous athleticism. His biggest liability is his lack of knowledge in the system, making sure that he holds the correct coverage. More than a few times during the season, and during Spring Ball, he didn’t go where he was supposed to, and it ended up costing the defense big time. If he has improved his understanding of the defensive playbook, and capitalizes on his year’s worth of starting experience, he is in good position to maintain his starting job.

He really isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. He said he's been studying his playbook hard this summer. He's going to be a strong playerman.

I didn't see the game, but it looks like NT kicked the shit out of SMU.

There's no excuse for SMU sucking this bad. If they were smart, lightning would strike twice and they'd get rid of Bennett and replace him with Todd Dodge.
