Sooooo, how about that Mike Leach. So far it's come out that a player and a parent has complained, and Sports by Brooks is reporting that the player is Adam James, Craig James' son. Wow. I think we've seen the last of Leach in Lubbock. They wouldn't have suspended him from coaching in the bowl game if they are planning to ever bring him back. |

Man, those e-mails are some great reading. I'm on the side of Leach now and think that the James' are being helicopter parents that raised a jerk. Many observers think that the AD has had it out for Leach for awhile and resents having to deal with him. |

The Harrell email was interesting in that he said James quit the baseball team because of playing time. The kid sounds like a douchey. I think Leach will get canned before they pay him $800K on Jan 1. I wonder if ESPN will report anything negative about Adam James. |

This shit storm has already been spun up and I think all that's left is figuring out the financial. How does he come back and move on after a suspension like everything is peachy? Especially if he's not granted a restraining order to coach in the bowl game. |

It's really not about James. The administration has been wanting to fire Leach since contract negotiations went sour last year. They would have found something else if this never happened. I saw this on Texags : Coach Leach has been in touch with Coach Sherman about Nolan Cromwell's(OC at ATM) status for next season. He wants to get back at Gerald(Tech AD), and he has figured out a way to do it. This is not a joke. |
