Tennessee 56 Memphis 28 A fun homecoming game for Tennessee. Crompton threw 5 TDs and ran for another The game was actually more lopsided than the score indicates as Tennessee was up 42-7 at the half. Memphis scored their points against the second team defense. Speaking of defense, Eric Berry grabbed his 14th interception of his career last night. He returned it 7 yards, leaving him 5 yard shy of Terrell Buckley's record of 499 yards. Berry also recovered a fumble. He is a monster. Next Week: Ole Miss, a tester.... |

Boys, your Unca Ich didn't have a good day yesterday. The mighty Vols got their asses handed to them! I take comfort in the fact that turnovers did not contribute to said ass kicking (No INTs, No fumbles). But, that being said we flat out got outplayed. Ole Miss controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Our defense made a star out of their running back, McCluster, who ran just short of 300 yards! This, after only averaging 59 yards per game. Not good. Not good at all... Next up: Vandy. |

Tennessee 31 Vandy 16 Your Unca Ich is happy. The game was a little closer than the score indicates because Wes Brown intercepted the ball on the very last play and ran it back for a pick 6. Otherwise, the defense was lackluster against the pass. The offense had a good game with only one interception when the receiver tipped the ball into the air. A good "final" game at Neyland Stadium for the seniors. The Vols became bowl eligible last night, so we'll go to a nice 2nd tier bowl. Next week: Kentucky |

Tennessee 30 Kentucky 24 It took one OT period, but the Vols came out on top! Unfortunately, I didn't get to see any of this game becuase I was driving back from Alabama. Looks like Hardesty ended his career at UT with 3 TDs. Good for him. Tennessee ends the regular season at 7-5 and will likely go to the Outback Bowl in Tampa. Gotta say, the 1st year of the Kiffin era is an absolute success as UT was not bowl eligible in Phil's last season. Go Vols! |

Your Unca Ich has been kicked in the nuts! One fucking year and he jumps ship! I knew Carroll was leaving, but it never crossed my mind once that Kiffin would be considered for the job. He has effectively scuttled the ship and left the crew to die. Any recruits that were interested in Tennessee are no longer. We've named Kippy Brown interim coach. (Kippy coached at Tennessee years ago and was just rehired by Kiffin after the season) Coaching musical chairs has already occurred so basically, we can hire Mike Leach or Phil Fulmer. FUCK! |

Of course, I would have too, but noone's knocking down the doors of truckdrivers to coach the Raiders. *looks at pic of Tom Cable* I retract that. Noone's beating down the doors of truckdrivers to coach the Trojans. |
