Yeah, I was just as surprised. It was also never Shawn Bradley's fault that he couldn't play. It was the refs doing.

He seems like the type that will throw whomever he needs to under the bus to put himself in a better light. If he thought that he was still getting criticized for firing avery, then throwing this out is justifiable for him. and if he has to exaggerate a little, so be it.

He hasn't been criticized for firing Avery.

All the talk I heard about it was positive.

I haven't got that impression. The guy doesn't seem to care what people think of him. If he was really worried about how he looks in the media or with the fans would he make such a buffoon of himself on the sidelines?

Are Derek Harper and Gina Miller gonna get fired? That sucks. I like them both.

I hope not. I like them too. If Cuban wants to get away from 21 just because of those 2, he's got serious issues. They (esp Harper) can be critical at times, but I've never seen them be disrespectful. I like opinions with a home team slant but I don't want to be lied to like an iPhone owner.

Hey ESPN, the secret to a "tease" is to have an actual payoff. Quit saying "Coming up next, LeBron announces his decision" going into every break. That's been the line for 3 breaks so far (3 breaks in 17 minutes, really?)

I don't wish injury on him, but I do hope he is the main reason they are bounced out of the playoffs every year.

ESPN: "LeBron, first off: Congratulations on making your decision..."

wait, what? Congratulations? For a decision?

I don't hate Lebron, but I hope the three of them never win a championship.

I know Wade already has 1*.

That asterisk should be bigger than the number, as it's more significant.

Post subject:  Re: Unofficial Mavs offseason thread

let's remember why we should wish failure on Dwayne Wade's runt ass, too:

Towards the end of the game in overtime, Miami's Dwyane Wade drove to the basket and was fouled by the Mavericks.[4] ABC Sports, the television network covering the NBA Finals, could not display a conclusive replay supporting the call by Salvatore. As a result of the foul, Wade was awarded two free throws with 1.9 seconds remaining. The free throws were successful and contributed to the Heat victory*, 101–100.
