Banny's out because he was too tough? wtf.

I didn't necessarily like or not like him. I thought he was more of a players coach, so it's surprising to hear that he didn't connect well with the youngins. But was it not connecting with those kids that made the team terrible this year? Or was it because we gave away all of our ace pitching and put all of our hopes on a 45 year old fat ass?

I can think of a guy who works well with young players ...

I doubt the results this year had anything to do with it.

If they would have made the playoffs, I doubt they'd be preparing for a rebuild with younger players, and if younger players are the reason he's being replaced (?), then whether or not he made the playoffs is irrelevant to this. I don't know if "JD doesn't like him" is a thing. Banny got the most out of the lamest slogan in the history of ever, so I'll give him that. I didn't hate him.

I don't think any manager would have taken them to the playoffs and I don't think every manager in Banny's place would have gotten fired. Conjecture, but that's what we do around here. Or used to do.
