While the rest of the world is watching bassetball, I am watching the Rangers lose in the Alamodome. I think I've found my kryptonite. It's the sound of six-year-olds chanting, "Let's go Rangers!," followed by an answer chant of "Let's go Dodgers!"

Ryan Ludwick doesn't make the team. He's 36, and although he has the "lofty" career average of .260, he hasn't hit that for a couple of years. Some radio dumbass was going on and on about his presence on the team. The swelling in my fist hasn't gone down from when I punched the dash that day. Let somebody else make the automatic outs. |

An exerpt from Newberg: Buster Olney (ESPN) thinks Texas is baseball’s 23rd-best team and Jim Bowden (ESPN/XM) thinks Texas, “sooner than later” but at least by the July trade deadline, should move Adrian Beltre (to Washington) and Prince Fielder (to San Diego or Toronto) and Yovani Gallardo (to Boston) and Neftali Feliz and Shin-Soo Choo.
