If they have a good season, gam will participate and get that number higher.

Agreed. Nefti on the mound is like a roller coaster ride. Many highs and lows.

25 days until pitchers and catchers report!

Watched the MLB Network last night. They rated the top 10 shortstops for 2015.... Uh Elvis has apparently left the building. :dunno:

Rangers sign Rougned Odor

I hope they both play on the same team someday.

That's ok. We can always trade for Cliff Lee...wait.

This is going to be a fucking disaster. The only thing that will save it is Prince's bat.

Prince won't last two months before he's out with an injury again.

While the rest of the world is watching bassetball, I am watching the Rangers lose in the Alamodome.

I think I've found my kryptonite. It's the sound of six-year-olds chanting, "Let's go Rangers!," followed by an answer chant of "Let's go Dodgers!"

Watching Chi Chi Gonzalez pitch motivates me to make a Jake-like proclamation:

I will fight anybody that suggests that we trade this guy off for some "bat" or anybody else.

I agree with you, but only because they suck.

They may have a WS title if they had been willing to move Profar.

They'd have a WS title now if Nellie Cruz goes back to touch the wall instead of watching a fly ball go over his head! A fundamental that was taught to me as a little leaguer. Fuck!

Ok guys, I get that there are reasons within game 6 that they could have/would have won it if you want to boil it down to one game.

Oh, I got it. I don't recall saying we should trade Profar.

Especially after I was wrong about the Justin Smoak for Cliff Lee trade.

Not you. Just the "hoard prospects" guys in general. If the Rangers are winning 95 games, I'm all for trading prospects. 67 wins, not so much.

Ryan Ludwick doesn't make the team. He's 36, and although he has the "lofty" career average of .260, he hasn't hit that for a couple of years.

Some radio dumbass was going on and on about his presence on the team. The swelling in my fist hasn't gone down from when I punched the dash that day.

Let somebody else make the automatic outs.

An exerpt from Newberg:

Buster Olney (ESPN) thinks Texas is baseball’s 23rd-best team and Jim Bowden (ESPN/XM) thinks Texas, “sooner than later” but at least by the July trade deadline, should move Adrian Beltre (to Washington) and Prince Fielder (to San Diego or Toronto) and Yovani Gallardo (to Boston) and Neftali Feliz and Shin-Soo Choo.

Whatever.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Hoob's take: looking back on some of Bowden's predictions in the past gave me fartlaugh.
