Oswalt couldn't hit sand falling off a camel much less the the strikezone, that's why we shipped his ass to the bullpen last year.

CJ "Clutch" Wilson has been pretty good lately so he's due for a meltdown. With the pressure of pitching at his former home I'm expecting him to fold up like a cheap suit.

It's time to start taking ^this^ guy seriously.

:D It's not hard to predict when CJ will have a bad game. If the game has any significance, he will suck. The dude cannot handle even the slightest bit of pressure.

I fell asleep on the couch shortly after Dutch left. The wifey woke me up at 10:30 to go to bed. I checked my phone and saw the score was 11-8 in the 8th inning I think so I just said "fuck it" and went to bed. Apparently I missed another good finish. :( Dunno if I could have stayed up til midnight though.

I made it through the Soria/Ross meltdown and then saw Scheppers give up the first of his runs. That's the last I remember. Then I woke up to them celebrating and I said fuck it, I'm too tired to rewind.

The difference between us is, I'm a dumbass fan and you aren't. I'll stay up and watch a meaningless game even though I have to get up at 5:00 and go to work. I was really tired this morning. It's not smart.

From the Angels message board on MLB.com:

Hey thanks for nothing losers. Third straight 9th inning choke job when we needed those W's. Your pathetic excuse of a team is a real AL west cellar team. Astros get a pass for their inaugural season while watching your team of overpaid turds play makes me sick. Have fun being completely irrelevant for the rest of the season.

It appears that Matt Garza has taken to Twatter to express his displeasure with Eric Sogard bunting a couple of times on Saturday. Sogard's wife was also in the mix. Damn, dude. Lighten up.

I follow the Fake Tom Grieve on Twatter, and he is pretty damned annoying about it.

I thought McCarver was just being his normal idiot self yesterday, when he said Garza was mad at Oakland bunting.

I hope there's something more to this, because right now Garza looks like a punk.

I agree that Buck was overrating some defensive plays, but he did the same thing when Murph cut off a ball in LC to prevent a double. Any member of the Jacksox could have made the play. I don't know what reason he would have to have a bias against Texas.

Post subject:  Re: Rangers 2013

I don't know why he would have a bias either, but it sure seems that way to me. I mean routine grounders to short or 3rd for Oakland and Buck's voice would elevate and his patented "not an easy play to make" line would make an appearance. But there were a couple of plays by the Rangers' defense: a leap by Kinsler and a SCREAMER to Moreland that didn't even warrant a play call by Buck. It seemed to me that he was showing bias, but in reality it could very well be that he just sucks.

Speaking of Rangers' announcers, after that 3rd walkoff homer I was really missing Lewin. I bet he would have been beside himself.

You don't really think this is a tough thing, do you? His fastball was topping out at 88. The Rangers have at least 7 guys I would put out there before Colby. The only reason he got a 1 year deal in the first place was a thank you for the postseason success. He's probably done, but I wouldn't mind another 1 year deal in the offseason to give him another chance.
