Kinsler to the Angels. The first thing that came to mind (other than popup jokes) was the game against the Angels where Lackey was pitching and he got tossed from the game for throwing at Kinsler, batting leadoff.

I know Kinsler became a punching bag for his popups, but he was a well above average 2B at a fair salary. He still put up a 2.4 win season last year. I hate seeing him with the Angels.

It would take forever to find it, but Adam Morris posted stats when Kinsler was traded to Detroit showing that the popup thing was an exaggerated myth.

Seems like he would be more like Bannister than any of the younger candidates. I thought for sure that he would end up in St. Louis when Metheny was fired.

If you search Girardi's name on Twitter, you get back a ton of "fire Aaron Boone" related tweets from the last few days. :D
