Got lucky on a lot. Saw a Willie Mays card in a pic and that turns out was only $8. The others were a bit of a surprise.

Bought a special deal with 3 packs and an extra special card for $8.

1992 Fleer Ultra Clemens - $5
1992 Fleer Ultra Ryan - $2
2007 Upper Deck Big Papi - $.75
2007 Topps Johan - $.50

I blew this month's money on a basketball box. $35.

Got a Kevin Love auto, a Chris Paul jersey, Dirk jersey, dual jersey with Magic and Kidd, some other rookie auto, and something else.

I am willing to part with any of it except the Kevin Love auto. OR I should get rid of it before he's a spare.

Sports cards am tricked up these days. If it doesn't have someone's jersey/bat/ball sweat attached to it, it ain't worth much.

:babyarm:

Or they need to be inserts, chrome, or numbered. Or one good rookie card a year. I have a Topps Chrome Longoria rc that I will hold on to.

I have a Greg Oden RC that is already going down in value.

I thought it was kind of spare at the moment, but I've got a Barack Obama 2008 Topps card. It's gone from $1 to $30 in a few weeks.

I invested a few dollars in a Fred Thompson card back in December, but I think it depreciated in value since then.

Sadly, the Modano rookie cards range from $.75-6.00 The Bowman Tiffany gets up to $12.00, but you can get one on Ebay for $2. The card market from 1987-1992 is pretty pathetic.
