Looks like the Rangers and the city of Arlington are getting a head start on things and announcing the building of a new stadium with a retractable roof. One of the things this does is it prevents Dallas or Frisco or anybody out east from stealing the club. I have sentimental reasons for wanting the team to stay in Arlington and this makes old Hoob happy. |

I'd rather it be downtown Dallas but only because I would be a less than 30 min train ride from the game. As a taxpayer I'd rather Arlington take on this terrible deal. |

I'm going by what should be. As defined, as long as all three outs are recorded via strikeout, they call it striking out the side regardless of what else happens. It's an announcer thing. I doubt teams care as long as the outs are recorded. |

Well yeah, I admitted that I always thought striking out the side was 3 up 3 down. I don't think I debated that after you defined it. (Though I did point out there are differing opinions) The bottom line is the guy that's been in Buzz's seat for the last few games suck high hogs and needs to go away. |

Fuck him. He's done and they're doing him a favor by giving him one final game. Their chances of making the playoffs are slim but they still have a chance and you lessen that when you play a guy who can't hit anything but a mediocre fastball anymore. It's funny that everyone hates everything he ever did but now they whine that he's being persecuted. I think ESPN is just doing this because they don't want to make a big deal about his PED use. If they wave a shaming finger at him, it might open up for some blowback about Big Papi's questionable career numbers. |
