The only reason he got a 1 year deal in the first place was a thank you for the postseason success. He's probably done, but I wouldn't mind another 1 year deal in the offseason to give him another chance. I was hoping he could help as a reliever. |

Feliz in September? Not with the luck they're having with returning pitchers. btw Nathan striking out the side last night was impressive. |

It was the balls, brah It had nothing to do with the balls and everything to do with CJ not being able to pitch in high pressure situations. If the Rangers weren't having such a problem with consistency scoring runs that game could have gotten REALLY ugly. |

Feasting on the tears from the fuckers at Angelswin.com. They just knew the Angels would win one and knock out the Rangers. Oops. |

David Price is great, but the Rangers seem to hit him so well, which is almost as unexplainable as their numbers against Felix. Nellie has a fresh batch of HGH in him, so this should be fun. I'd put Nellie at DH and keep Gentry in LF. |

or somesuch wrote: jim jack wrote: Feasting on the tears from the fuckers at Angelswin.com. Got any highlights? I think there was a funnier thread from the walkoff game, but I'm too lazy to look it up. Today someone started a thread titled, "Die Rangers!" and that made me laugh. Yesterday was one called, Good job being the Rangers doormats, Angels. Included in it was: Hopefully Scioscia gets the Lane Kiffin treatment and then this team does...I don't know what the hell they can do, this is a gigantic ****ing mess that's not looking like it's getting fixed anytime soon. I'm guessing this team will find the course of action that makes the most sense and do the exact opposite though. Arte has a tradition to uphold. ---- I'm just glad Cleveland won out. Hopefully the Rays will take care of the Rangers. ---- Astros and Angels should get a percentage of the Rangers playoff share... ---- We are the Rangers' bitch. To paraphrase Pedro Martinez, they are our daddies. Did we win a single game in Arlington this year? ---- April 6th. That's it. ---- Angels go out like a lamb. Can't even take one from the Rangers to be a spoiler. Time for changes with this club. ---- This isn't a 2013 thing...they've owned us since 2010...has not be a competitive series.... ---- That's it, I'm done with him. Up until this very moment I've thought otherwise, but goddammit dude. What the hell did you guys 'go after', huh? You rolled over like a bunch of pussies and let the Rangers walk all over you. One game. ONE GAME IS ALL YOU NEEDED TO WIN, out of four. **** you, Scioscia. Get somebody in here who can light a fire under this team's ass, and call a spade a spade. You played like dog shit. Own up to it, puss cake. ---- (I swear this one was not me:) I'm not sure which I appreciate more, the Angels contribution to my Rangers this weekend or AJ Happ for his great pitching effort against the Rays, but I thank the Angels team for laying down for the Rangers this weekend. It helped my favorite sports team overcome a number of unfortunate injuries and suspension this year to live another day. I'm looking forward to the rest of the season and the postseason. ---- I'm looking forward to the Rays kicking your favorite team's ass tomorrow so the Rangers can hit the golf course instead of the postseason. Just like my favorite team. |

This play-by-play guy has a more annoying voice than Busby. Price was pretty cold blooded with that pick off move. He worked over Elvis on that. |
