When the Rangers played the Yanks a couple weeks ago, Tag was practically comatose. Barely heard him say a word all weekend. That's the kinda Tag I like.

I really enjoyed the in-game interview with Dillon Tate. And I hate in-game interviews.

So...you have to bring in Blanks to hit for Moreland here, right?

Adam J. Morris ‏@lonestarball 3m3 minutes ago

Thank goodness Blanks didn't hit there. Only a fool would have wanted that.

Fangraphs playoff odds give the Rangers a 12.3% chance of making the playoffs. The M's? 25.3% chance.

I am amused by Morris's dislike for the Mariners. It reminds me of my hatred of the Angels.

Gallo in LF tonight, so he's probably staying up when Beltre comes back and until Hamilton comes back.

I'd be fine if Gallo stayed in for Hamilton.

If the season ended today, the Rangers would play the Yankees in the WC game.

And the payrolls of the would be-division winners are ranked #16, #28, #29.

The Rangers were dominated by Chris Sale last night, then they came back and scored on the White Sox bullpen and won.

I would like to have heard Hawk Harrelson's call of the Rangers taking the lead.

You wouldn't have heard shit because he's usually too pissed to speak when they blow a game like that.

Rangers great Darryl Hamilton died today, was the murder part of a murder suicide. He was 50.

If not my favorite Rangers center fielder ever, one of them.

Martine Perez threw 39 pitches in a rehab assignment in three innings tonight. The leadoff hitter took him deep.

But he hit 94 on the gun twice. 94.

This makes me happy.

I'm listening for Hamels and yes, ChiChi is on the table. I went back and looked at the Rangers top prospects in 2010 and 2011, when it was supposedly stacked, and it turned out extremely meh. Pairing Darvish and Hamels next year, with Dutch and Perez behind them makes me tinkle.

Just saying I'm listening.

His BABIP and LOB% are unsustainable with that K/9, btw. I know he's young and does seem to induce weak contact, but there are better pitchers in the minors and knowing Philly's GM, he would probably jump on ChiChi because of that current ERA.

Could have used his bat during the Angels series. Maybe we would have only lost by and average of 7 runs a game

PoSH is hurt again. Even at $1 mil this dude is overpaid. Send his ass to Frisco and let him spare those folks to death.

Feliz is now a free agent.

Remember how great that Mark Teixeira trade used to be?
