Had a follow-up with the doctor and he inspected my junk. Everything is looking good. Apparently I'm some sort of Superman since I only took 2 Hydrocodone in the days following the surgery.

Everything seems ok. As I lie here still, it's not bad, but they want me to walk around the house every hour or so to keep the muscles strong. Had a weird scare in the car on the way home as the Hydrocodone kicked in for the first time while Mrs Tit went into QT to get me a drink. I got all lightheaded and felt like passing out, then I saw crazy lights before my eyes and tripped balls for about 5 minutes while riding through Garland. It was neat and I recommend it when travelling through Garland. They also shaved half my pubes while I was knocked out. I kept working on chubbing up while waiting for them to start, but I imagine it went back down to microweenus after I went under. It sucks because the nurse was cute. |

It's weird having to pee but not having any muscle control about it. I get to stand over the bowl and let gravity drain my bladder. It's not very efficient. |

I'm feeling fine while staying in bed, but whenever I get up to walk around it still hurts like hell. I'm getting some muscle control back, and I'm peeing with force and I'm beginning to fart again, which is important. I now only want to die when I have to move around. |

When I got my first wisdom tooth pulled many years ago I was given Vicodin. After living with an infected tooth for a couple of weeks, having that sucker gone was such a relief I didn't need any pain meds. I took one anyway and chugged a beer just to see what all the favre was about. |

I went to the doctor today to get routine blood work done. While there, I mentioned an ear problem I have. I have always had fucked up ears ever since I was a Lil Tit. I had tubes in my ears a couple times and some surgery on my eardrum when I was 10. My hearing is around about 80% in both ears, but I haven't had them tested in a long time. I'll probably need hearing aids sometime. I also have an unreasonable amount of earwax buildup. Lately, I've been worrying about the beginnings of tinnitus since I've been hearing a white noise-ish sound in my left ear. The doctor took a look and determined what I need is a good ear cleaning. I had two types of wax going: dark brown chunky stuff in the left ear and this awful, light-brown, creamy stuff that stinks to high holy hell in the right. He used some kind of utensil to scrape out the stuff inside the door at first, and he wiped it off on the paper thing they put down on the exam table. There was a hella lot of it. Probably enough to ball it up to the size of a marble. He got a nurse to do the irrigation part. This is when they take a spritzer bottle full of warm water and peroxide and jet it in through a small tube. If you've never had it done, it sucks. Especially because it an effort to provide a deep cleaning, they gotta aim that tube in every direction, and there's a magical line in your ear canal that's sensitive like a mug and they like to cross it with that tube. I once had this done with an ear infection and it was the most painful thing I've ever experience. And remember, I've had gout. So I got four rounds of washing in the right ear and three in the left. Each time, I could feel that water in my eyeballs. Also, since they're messing with your ear canals, you get all dizzy and shit. Like ready to just drop on the floor dizzy. All you can do is hold on and hope they don't cross that line again. Each rinse resulted in a nice cup of light brown liquid, sort of like the kind in the toilet after you've had that final round of spastic diarrhea and you're just about clean, but there's still a little left. The nurse--who looked a lot like an ex-girlfriend and, therefore, I was attracted to--didn't even flinch. But all I could think of is how gross I am and how I blew any chance I might've had with her. I did compliment her on her phlebotomy skills later on since she has a way of sticking you with a needle so you don't even feel it, but it was too little too late. She had already flushed about a liter of my chunky, stinky head sewage. I'm disgusting to her. My hearing is much better though. I'll need to do it again in 6-12 months. Enjoy your lunch. |
