Like a lot of schools, Hoob ISD has a Facebook page. I am in charge of it. One reason why I started one was to combat fake FB pages. I know of a school where someone used a fake page to declare that school was cancelled because of a water emergency and a lot of people believed it.

I have learned that there are some things that I don't really want to post about. Like bad weather. No matter what I say about it, there will be those morons who use it as a forum to bash the school's decision, no matter what it is. I have banned a couple of people from our page over it.

Today when it snowed, an alarm went off in my head that said, "Hoob, just stay the F off of Facebook."

Today one of our moms posted a picture of her two kids. One of them was making a peace sign. The other, a freshman boy, was doing the shocker. And the mom commented that he must not know what that sign means.

There are some pretty interesting 2nd amendment pages I enjoy, not to mention several group pages dedicated to my beloved Tennessee Vols. It's also a great device for communicating with my relatives without having to actually talk to them!

Some of our students won some award and a picture was shot. It was texted to webmaster Hoob. Unfortunately, the poor dumbass used the number I had in my Facebook account, which is 555-1212.

There is some damn feature that popped up yesterday that reads, It's been a great year! Thanks for being a part of it. It takes all of the pictures that you post and makes an annoying gallery.

It is annoying the dog shit out of me. On my page, it attempted to do this. It contained both pictures that I posted in 2014, trying to make a lame little gallery of it. I did not make it public.

Unfortunately, a lot of my friends did. Dummies.
