That dude left on his own about a year ago. Turns out he was smarter than all of us.

Kim Carnes sounds like Rod Stewart in 'Bette Davis Eyes'

When I was a little kid my gay ears loved that song. Do you know what else? They still do.

I like it, Hoob. Looks like the dog has a turd sticking out of its turdbutt.

A couple weekends ago, I was at my 'puter upstairs just messing around on it. My 'puter sits next to a window from which I can see the next door neighbor's back yard. There's not much going on back there, but I can still see. They have dogs. Two of them. Labs, I think. Maybe one's a setter. He's kinda copper-colored. His name is Luke. The other is black. Her name is Raven. So they have a couple of good-sized dogs. Anyhoo, that day I see movement in their backyard so I glance over at it. Luke is out there and he turns his back toward me, gets down into that haunched dog poop position and pushes out a ginormous turd about the size of Seattle. They feed that dog well, I tell ya. He finished up, kicked a little grass on it, and ran off to another part of the yard. Maybe 30 seconds later, Raven walks over to it, started sniffing it, and...began to chow down. There was still steam coming off that thing. She didn't care. She got herself a hot lunch. Dogs are gross.

I like Luke as a dog name but Raven sucks.

She's keeping the yard clean like a good little bitch. You never know when unexpected company will drop in.

I've seen the human missus of the house walk out into that backyard, grab the poop scoop, and clean up after the dogs. She's the only one who does it because she knows her place.

Solid black animals are kinda limited when it comes to names since everyone wants to do a color themed one like Blackie or Midnight.

Do you ever people watch at the airport? Sometimes I people watch when I am at the airport and this week I was at the airport and people watched. I settled my gaze on this group of silly looking older rocker type dudes at my gate. It was gate 37, FYI in Atlanta for Delta. They weren’t pooping, they were just hanging out waiting for a flight to Jackson, MS on a Wednesday like the fucko typing this. Anydanghoo, I was stumped, stumped, I tell ya at who they were. They carried themselves with a certain air of celebrity, still sported metal hair, and dressed ridiculously for their ages. I decided I loved them for it. Some sad sack nookie seahag in a Pyromania concert t was tending to them. I couldn’t read her badge. I bet she was hot in her day, but gobs and gobs of cock suckin and fuckin and cocaine can age a person, I don’t have to tell any of yous. They boarded with the 1st class group :bigtime: and by the time my zone could board and I walked by them they were clinking their liquor drinks. I looked at the concert calendar for Jackson and got nothing. There was, however, a big ass tour bus waiting for them upon landing right outside baggage claim. The sign on the side of the bus at long last Was the big reveal: Foghat. Seems the boyz in the band had themselves a gig in Laurel, MS last night at a fair before heading over Longview way for the Riders, Rockers, and Ribs festival. It’s tomorrow, fellas. Plan accordingly.

The air inside your average neighborhood CVS is about 74% farts.

I'm a Walgreens man too but this CVS was conveniently located during lunch. We had to get some cold sore cream. That's right, both me and the missus are infected with a form of the herp. I probably got it and gave it to her. Anyhow, everywhere we walked in this CVS smelled like a fart except for the cold sore aisle. They weren't skin peelers or anything. Just your average fog bank of stale butt smoke. I think we got a nice fresh one from the old black man standing in front of us at the checkout. He seemed nice but I'm sure he planted one right before we walked up. Stay away from this race.

Today is Edmund Fitzgerald day. I’m guessing Mike will bring it up later. I heard the song about the wreck of it earlier this morning by the great Gordon Lightfoot. My fave lyric from that song is “does anyone know where the love of God goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours”. Just brutal. Also, that cook was a lazy son of a gun.

Just the mere mention of that song caused an earworm. I wasn't crazy about it when it came out and it hasn't changed. But it's one of the biggest and worst earworms ever for me. It was stuck in my head all day.

Maybe I need to download the song and then I'll be cured. If that doesn't work, I'll try sacrificing a goat.

I see on the Google welcome screen that this is the 131st anniversary of the Hole Puncher. That sounds like a good name for my weenar. The Hole Puncher.
